What KPMG tells its clients about the TCFD recommendations

According to the KPMG Corporate Responsibility survey 2017, 78% of the researched companies believe that corporate responsibility information is relevant for investors. Therefore, most of the world’s largest companies integrate financial and non-financial data in their annual financial reports.

However, even though 67% of the largest companies in the world disclose targets to cut their carbon emissions in 2017, most companies do not link the targets to global climate goals, nor do they acknowledge climate-related financial risks in their financial reporting.
