What is the job about?

Grundfos Holding A/S is looking for an intern to support our Engagement & Responsibility team during the coming autumn semester (August 2017 to January 2018) in relation to the implementation of our Human Rights Due Diligence Program. The team has 4 members and focuses on sustainability, corporate ethics, employee engagement and Human Rights among others
What do you need to apply?
The work with Human Rights is now focused on the implementation of some of the actions identified so far through our Human Rights Due Diligence journey. As an intern in our team, you will therefore gain a unique understanding of how to operationalize Human Rights, how to work with this topic across functions and how to sharpen existing tools and practices, to mention a few. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will be to assist with the implementation of Human Rights initiatives, including and not limited to:
1. Assisting with the coordination of activities related to Human Rights Impact Assessments (HRIA).
2. Updating suppliers´ sustainability audit tools.
3. Conducting research on upcoming Human Rights-related legislation.
4. Assisting on benchmarking exercises related to Human Rights
As our potential new intern, you are currently studying a master´s degree or a 4-year bachelor´s degree in the Human Rights area (or a relevant field). You should have a good understanding of existing Human Rights-related legislation, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and existing business and Human Rights practices at a global level. You have strong analytical and writing skills, are quality-oriented and organized. You have an international outlook and you speak and write English fluently. You are ambitious with the intention to add value to our company and you are willing to learn. The position is based in our HQ in Bjerringbro. This is an unpaid internship; nonetheless, Grundfos may be able to reimburse some costs depending on specific circumstances and applicable laws and regulations.
