Researcher - Applications Evaluator
We are looking for a volunteer to fill the role of Researcher – Applications Evaluator, who will be carrying out project activities, working with applications data, finding and reviewing applicants worldwide, etc.

You are a proactive, detail oriented, self-starter and a team player. You work well with others in furthering the applications processing and overall goals of WAFA. You report to the Research Team Leader.
Research potential applicants
Reviewing, analysing and scoring projects
Writing emails to applicants
Participate in regular team meetings
Development of system processes
Education background: preferably you hold a higher education degree in relevant field e.g. engineering, biology, communication
Experience: no formal experience is required.
Skills: research, critical thinking, analysis, environmental awareness, passion for humanitarian work, good team work, dedication to set tasks.
Computer knowledge: must possess good computer skills, we work with Google Docs, Skype, Zoom and various website and databases.
Languages proficiency: our working language is English. Other languages would benefit the team.
Minimum working hours per week
Activities to participate in all year around with most commitment required between November and March.
All work is virtual and team members are located in different regions of the world
You will be working remotely and require access to a computer with fast internet connection. Regular Skype meetings with the WAFA area managers are required.
It goes without saying that you enjoy working with people and are a team player, and that you are self-driven and well-organized.

We are looking for two volunteers to fill in this role. Your work will be from home via Internet, therefore your country of location can be worldwide.
We would like our new Researcher-Applications Evaluator to start as soon as possible, therefore we are recruiting on an ongoing basis and have no deadline for applications. You can expect a response from our HR Manager, Mrs. Astghik Hovhannisyan, within a week of submission.
