Engaging Youth in Building the Business of Tomorrow
Are you a young professional? Join this half-day conference and learn how to become an SDG innovator, entrepreneur and intrapreneur.
The world needs new ideas and innovative solutions to reach the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs or Global Goals), and the young generation has the mindset to provide them.
During this half-day conference in the UN City in Copenhagen, you will learn how to use the SDGs to create innovation and new business strategies. Moreover, you will become familiar with UN Global Compact's new Young SDG Innovator program, which aims to turn young professionals into SDG intrapreneurs who can help the companies they represent create a profit while solving some of the world's biggest challenges. The Young SDG Innovator program is supported by Tuborgfondet.
You will also get the chance to listen to inspirational talks from:
- John Elkington, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder at Volans Ventures and creator of the term "Triple Bottom Line"
- Lise Kingo, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact
- Mads Nipper, CEO of Grundfos
At 16.00, after the conference has ended, there will be drinks and networking.
Full program to be shared in January.
Students are very welcome at the conference.
The event is hosted by Global Compact Network Denmark and Tuborgfondet.
