Would you like to test your skills within sustainability? Then you might be the Sustainability Intern we are looking for!

As our new intern, you will join the Sustainable Development & CSR team. We are a part of Danish Crown’s group sustainability function with responsibility of commercializing sustainability. We handle CSR risk and compliance in the value chain and among others deliver the annual sustainability report.

Learn about sustainable thinking

During your internship, you will contribute to the update of our sustainability policy and help to develop an internal roll-out program that includes establishing a training program.

You will also conduct a CSR risk assessment in the value chain where you will analyze customer requirements for retailers and B2B customers.

Depending on your interests you can also take part in different projects within commercialization of sustainability, where you will have the opportunity to learn from dedicated colleagues.

All in all, you will during your internship learn how to include sustainable thinking and actions into the work with consumers, retailers and B2B customers.

Analytical, structured and with an interest in sustainability

We look for exceptional people with a variety of academic backgrounds such as students who study i.e. Commercial Retail Management or other MSc professions like Business Administration.

Most importantly:

  • You are analytical and structured
  • You are self-motivated and can work both alone and cooperate in teams
  • You are curios and work proactively with many stakeholders
  • You have strong presentation and communication skills.

Maybe you can’t bring experience with sustainability from a student job, but you have a strong interest within the area – and preferably some knowledge from your studies. We believe that it is more important that you have a great willingness to learn.

Why choose an internship at Danish Crown?

Interns play a vital role in Danish Crown, because they contribute with innovative thoughts and challenge status quo, which are one of the key sources to secure a sustainable development in the food industry. The journey is still long, and we cannot do it alone. Now is your chance to taste a future in Danish Crown through an internship, expand your professional network and spice up your resumé with new competences from an international organization.

As a part of our gratitude for choosing Danish Crown for your internship, we will cover reasonable expenses for transport and lunch.

After your internship there is a good possibility to stay onboard in a student job and/or write your thesis in collaboration with us.

The practicalities

We offer a seat at the table at our office at Tulipvej 1, 8940 Randers. We are only 25. min. from Aarhus by car or else you can catch the bus in Aarhus which stops very close to our main entrance.

The internship is conducted in the fall of 2021 and with about 37 working hours per week. We imagine that you start August/early September and with a duration of 4 to 6 months.

Appetite for more?

To learn more about the internship, please do not hesitate to contact Director, Sustainable Development & CSR, Monica Klepp Bjerrum, on (+45) 21379010.

Deadline is April 4th. However, we encourage you to send your resumé and cover letter as quickly as possible as we take down the job ad once, we’ve found the right candidate.
