HEADS UP: Deloitte China launches Sustainability Awards 2014
Is your company operating in China?
Deloitte China has entered into partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and now invites Multinational Corporations (MNCs) with strong sustainability performance in China to apply for one of these awards. The aim is to encourage and reward best-practice corporate sustainability among MNCs in China.
The awards recognize companies achievements in adopting sustainable business practices under five standard categories and one theme category, namely:
1. Sustainability leadership, 2. Sustainability Innovation, 3. Best Environmental Performance, 4. Best Social Performance, 5. Best Community Investment, and the theme award is Water Stewardship.
Nomination is open for any MNC that is headquartered overseas but with operations that have been registered on the Chinese Mainland, in Hong Kong SAR and or Macau SAR for three consecutive years.
Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony held on 27 February 2014 in Shanghai.
