Program Overview
The Impact Manager program equips you with the skills to holistically measure and improve social and environmental impact. Learn how to future-proof your business by assessing impact, enhancing value creation for people, society, and the planet, and guiding your company towards achieving B Corp certification.
The program is based on the B Corp movement’s standards and uses the B Impact Assessment tool to provide a comprehensive view of your company's impact on all stakeholders: Governance, workers, community, environment and customers.

The Impact Manager program helps you learn how to use B Corp tools to manage impact and enhance value creation, as well as integrate sustainability into your core business strategy.
How the Program is Conducted
The program is context-based, interactive, and tailored to your business needs combining virtual and in-person sessions. Throughout the course, you will work hands-on with B Corp tools on real life cases. This will allow you to identify opportunities for improvement and use certification as an active strategic tool. Additionally, you will be inspired by case studies from the global B Corp movement, illustrating different Impact Business Models and pathways to certification.
Upon completing the Impact Manager program, you will be able to:
- Guide companies towards B Corp-certification.
- Utilize the B Impact Assessment tool to measure impact.
- Create strategies for continuous improvement and achieving certification.
- Expand responsibility through operational practices and Impact Business Models.
Practical Information
Price: 15.000 DKK ex VAT for non-B Corps and 12.500 DKK ex VAT for B Corps (ex-travel and accommodation). Cancellation fee of 5.000 DKK ex VAT.
Location of the in-person sessions: Copenhagen, Denmark. Language: English.

Course Options and Examination:
The Impact Manager program can be taken as a standalone course or as part of a diploma in sustainable business. It provides 5 ECTS credits and concludes with an optional examination, available for an additional fee of 2.500 DKK ex VAT conducted in collaboration with Erhvervsakademi Aarhus.
Developed by experts
The program has been developed by Nille Skalts and Steffen Kallehauge, partners at Märk and founders of B Lab Nordics. Additionally, guest speakers from various companies, all of whom have experience in certifying their businesses, will be invited to share their insights.
The course consists of 4 modules:
1. Responsibility: What does the world need, and what can we do about it?
Why is responsibility and transparency a prerequisite for the future of business?
In-person. Wednesday, November 5th from 9.00 – 16.00

2. B Impact Assessment: Your roadmap to governance, social and environmental impact.
How to use the B Impact Assessment as a measure and management tool for impact.
In-person. Thursday and Friday, November 14th – 15th from 9.00 – 15.00

3. B Impact Assessment Deep Dives: Practical work with the B Impact Assessment
Practical experience working with the B Impact Assessment.
Online. Tuesday, November 19th, 26th and December 3rd from 9.00 – 12.00
