Danske virksomheder overrepræsenteret som vindere af internationale priser
Til galla og højt humør trak to danske virksomheder flere priser hjem til uddelingen af Responsible Business Awards 2019 i London. For alle andre er der masser af inspiration at hente i kataloget over shortlistede samfundsansvarlige strategier og projekter.

Sustainable Innovation Award

Det er ikke for ingenting, vi på dansk har udtrykket "verdensberømt i Danmark". Som et lille hip til os selv, når feststemningen over dansk genialitet og forsynethed bliver lige vel høj. Onsdag d. 2. oktober på i et højloftet ballromm på et hotel nær Trafalqar Square viste det sig, at denne gang overdrev vi ikke. Denne gang var udlandet enige.
Den aften vandt Ørsted nemlig en Responsible Business award i kategorien "Business Transformation" for omstillingen af hele deres forretning fra sort til grøn energi. Og Mærsk vandt hele to priser. Den ene i kategorierne "Clean Energy Transition", for deres ambition om at have nul CO2-udledninger fra deres drift (netto i al fald) i 2050, mens resten af søfartsverdenen har et fælles mål om at halvere sine udledninger i samme periode. Den anden for sin bæredygtighedsrapport for 2018.
"Det betyder rigtig meget at få sådan en pris. Det giver en enorm stolthed internt over den rejse, vi har været på sammen i Ørsted. Så det er både en anerkendelse til medarbejderne og rart, at nogle udefra værdsætter det stykke arbejde, vi har leveret," sagde Ida Krabek, ansvarlig for "sustainability programmes and partnerships" hos Ørsted, som tog imod prisen sammen med kollegaer fra Ørsteds britiske afdeling.
Mangler du en god idé?
Selvom det kun er Mærsk og Ørsted, som kom med på vinderbilledet fra Responsible Business Awards, så er der masser at hente for degnene i kirken for samfundsansvarlige virksomheder.
Responsible Business Awards uddeles nemlig i 15 kategorier, hvor man i hver kategori har en short list på alt mellem fem og 14 virksomheder eller projekter. Så hvis man gerne vil vide, hvad 11 eksperer i en international jury mener, er best practice i dag, så kan man kigge der.
Det er et veritabelt tag selv bord af ideer og måder at arbejde på med alt fra ny teknologi til at løse social problemer, måder at skalere innovation fra pilot til mainstream, integartion af verdensmål - i bredden eller dybden, adgang til sanitet, bæredygtig ejendomsadministration, cirkulær babymad, finansielle ydelser til demente, genbrug af plastik, nye materialer, medarbejderinvolvering, investeringer i kvinder, partnerskaber med stor impact, børnearbejde i guldforsyningskæden, formulering af gode målsætninger på ren energi, flexible rapporteringsformater, inklusive kulturer for at fremme mangfoldighed, e-waste og til arbejdet med menneskerettigheder i leverandørkæden. Og det er bare et lille udsnit. Alle løsningerne er kort beskrevet her.
