The amfori Unleash Opportunity Conference is going online.

As many other conferences the physical Unleash Opportunity conference in 2020 was cancelled in March due to the spreading of COVID-19 and the public health risk involved. amfori is taking these unfortunate circumstances as an opportunity to rethink the conference, explore a new format and transform the two-day conference into a webinar series starting on 28 May running through till end of October - we call this series: Talks with Purpose.

The webinars will take place the last Thursday of every month, starting from May 2020. The exact dates and times are on the conference website. They will be free to all - members, stakeholders and other interested parties - and will offer the opportunity to learn about pressing topics in sustainability such as:

• Women’s Empowerment
• Supply Chain Transparency Challenges
• Transparency in the Food Sector
• Responsible Recruitment and Production
• Responsible Business Conduct Due Diligence Laws, and much more.

The Unleash Opportunity Webinar Series is an excellent opportunity to connect with some of the brightest minds in sustainability and discuss the challenges, successes and strategies of this complex world.

We’re entering a critical decade as we work towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. It’s time to work together and identify opportunities to build global supply chains that are a force for good: for people, the planet and business.

To live in a world where sustainable and open trade thrives, we need to collaborate. When we work together, we can support each other to embrace and navigate the ever-changing landscape with ease. By sharing insights and best practices and taking action, we can improve sustainability in our supply chains.

Working as one, we can keep on top of trends to see what’s on the horizon – helping us stay ahead of the curve. By supporting each other and working collaboratively, we can make a positive impact on people and the planet today, and adapt to the changes of tomorrow.
