Northern Europe’s largest production of green proteins has opened

The Danish cooperatives, DLG, DLF, and Danish Agro, have just opened their first grass protein plant with the goal to make climate-friendly feed and food. BioRefine Denmark A/S, which is owned by the cooperatives, seeks to become a pioneer within green protein extracted from grass.

DLG partner in a new ground-breaking project – ‘No-Methane’

Innovation Fund Denmark has invested EUR 2,2 million in the research project; ‘No-Methane’, in which a specific product is to be developed to reduce methane emissions from the cow by up to 50%. DLG is a key partner in the project, and if the goal of the project is reached, it will resonate throughout the world.

The Danish Agriculture & Food Council is setting up a Global Climate Task Force to develop green initiatives aimed at minimising greenhouse gas emissions globally together with leading Danish companies.
